Development Plan

Little Treasures supports and promotes Continuous Professional Development, both for the setting and for the staff. Below is our Development Plan for this school year, it outlines areas of our provision and practice that we plan to develop further and improve over the coming year.

Development Plan for 2025/ 2026

• All staff to complete Paediatric First Aid training.
• All staff to complete Level 1 Safeguarding Training.
• All staff to complete 20 hours of training (pro rata) during school year.
• Appointment of apprentice
• Appointment of casual member of staff
• New termly 'Stories for Talk' story sacks to be introduced for children to take home each week
• All staff to attend at least 80% of monthly staff meetings 
• Named staff members to access SENCO training 
• Identify 2 members of staff to complete NDNA Maths champion training.
• Manager/Deputy manager to attend identified training related to DSL role.
• Incorporation of Blue and Green Rooms into one room. Introduce new staffing rotas and separate group times. 
• Free flow outdoor provision to be established throughout the setting. New timetable to be introduced and implemented. 
• Outside area to be updated

  • more bark to be added in mud kitchen area
